The Border Vintage
The Border Vintage
Filled with an array of things that range from WWII trench art to more modern vintage items, The Border Vintage is beautifully laid out and ready to be delved into. Detailed vintage embroidery pieces share space with delicate drinking glasses and striking ceramics, a mirror’s gilded frame bright and eye-catching against the dove-grey wall upon which it hangs.
The Border Vintage is owned and operated by Natalie Mulick. She’s fascinated by the history and stories attached to vintage pieces, and has always had an eye and appreciation for both eclectic and everyday things from the past. Looking at her shop, this is evidenced by the nostalgic treasures she brings in. Each is undeniably unique and beautiful in some way. Her true inspiration for bringing The Border Vintage to life, however, is her young daughter. Natalie was lucky to be surrounded by strong and experienced female entrepreneurs that helped guide her own passion for vintage into a business. She wanted her daughter to see her doing something that she was passionate about, and to show her that you can take something and make it your own. Natalie loves being a mom, and finds that every day is a new adventure and a reason to try and be the best person she can.
You can find something to make your own in The Border Vintage at The Junction Arts Market at 2978 Dundas Street West, as well as on her Instagram page.
